Equifax Credit Information Services Inc, formally known as Retail Credit Company, is one of the three leading credit reporting bureaus in the United States. They also have operations in several other contries. Equifax's credit reports are widely used by creditors, landlords, and other companies to obtain information on applicants. Equifax offers solutions for both individuals and businesses. Their personal solutions include credit report scores and a credit watch service (that sends alerts via e-mail when an activity occurs that may affect an individual's credit report). Their business solutions include services that help a company make decisions in order to avoid credit fraud, reduce credit risks, and improve debt collections.
